STUDENT PHARMACISTS GOT TALENT SHOWCASE

Back by popular demand, we are calling all painters and poets, actors, and artists! Do you sing? Can you dance? Whether a solo performer or troupe, we want to see what you can do, and we know student pharmacists got talent! During APhA2023 Annual Meeting & Exposition in San Phoenix, AZ March 24-27, we want to feature YOU! The top performers from across the country will be featured at the APhA-ASP Opening General Session on Friday or the Awards Celebration on Saturday. Even if you mime that’s fine, show us what you got!  Student pharmacists selected to perform will receive a complimentary registration to the APhA Annual Meeting & Exposition. The deadline to apply is January 5. See application instructions below.  

ELIGIBILTY All performers must comply with the following guidelines: 1. Be members of APhA and have the approval of the APhA-ASP Chapter Advisor   2. Contestants may perform as a solo act, a duet, or a group ensemble.  3. Freestanding props are allowed at the discretion staff; however, water, fire, swords, knives and scenery/props requiring rigging are not permitted. 4. The lyrics, actions, and dress code of any performance must comply with all school or college of pharmacy policies for professional conduct. 5. Contestant performances may be no more than four minutes in length.  6. Acts may be of technical or theatrical nature. Examples include but are not limited to painting, videography, musical (vocal, instrumental, combination), comedic routine, dance/acro, magic act, monologue/acting, and ventriloquism.  

AUDITION SUBMISSION Student Pharmacists Got Talent auditions will take place via video recording and YouTube submission. Submitted videos DO NOT have to be highly edited, professional videos. A straightforward, un-edited performance that shows both personality and talent is preferred.  All submissions should be uploaded to YouTube. We strongly recommend that you use a Chapter YouTube account or an account that is not connected to videos that might be considered inappropriate or unprofessional. The link to the video must be included in the submission form which is due by 11:59pm PST on January 5.
